Single Vision Lenses

LDCA Single Vision lenses combine ergonomics and aesthetics giving the best optical characteristics.

It does not matter if the frame is curved or has a high pantoscopic angle, if it is big or small, or if the refraction index is high or low. If it is a FreeForm lens, the user will get the lightest, thinnest, best optical quality lens possible.

FREEDOM TO CHOOSE

The days of limited choice of available frames for patients with difficult Single Vision prescriptions are over. The sophisticated LDCA calculation software produces surfaces with a local curvature that compensates for the aberrations induced by astigmatic obliquity (see User Power Optimization). This allows you to choose the adequate base curve for each frame and for each wearer's style. Everything is possible: extraordinarily thin lenses for light and elegant spectacles, or curved lenses for sport and fashion frames.

Equally significant lens optimization takes into account possible tilting due to pantoscopic angle or frame curvature, generating perfect lenses for any situation. It compensates the typical problems of prism and oblique central refraction. Curved mounts are totally compensated.

PERSONALIZATION

Each lens is unique. It is calculated for each patient taking into account the prescription, pupil position and the 3D shape of the selected frame.

LDCA’s Single Vision has nothing to do with traditional convex aspheric lenses where you get only a few aspheric parameters. The surface of a LDCA Single Vision lens incorporates astigmatic correction on a generic surface, as complex as that of a progressive lens. This offers the best quality and comfort for every user.

The result is a lens that is easy to prescribe and easy to mount, which will fit the user perfectly.
